/Quick Point/ – Market Rises. Small Investors To Stop Selling?
From The Wall Street Journal’s front-page “Business & Finance” column today:
“The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 10% in the third quarter, even as economic uncertainty fueled an exodus of small investors from U.S. stocks.”
These opposing actions will not persist. Which will reverse? In the past, small investors have proven to be the laggards when trends shift. So, they likely will stop selling and start buying. There is nothing like an obvious return to overwhelm a hazy risk.
